Introducing the Chloe Spring/Summer 2017 Runway Bag Collection. Chloe’s latest collection features an urban innocence theme in which they presented relaxed tailored suits, pleated dresses, ruffles and florals. This season’s handbags continues Chloe’s bohemian vibe. The brand introduces their newest design, the Nile Bag, a flap bag which has a gold bracelet handle and leather shoulder strap. The Faye Bag returns in a compact backpack style. The mini size backpack features the same ring and chain detail as seen on the Faye Flap bags, and comes with a top handle.
For Chloe fans out there, you’ll definitely set your eyes on one specific bag that has been released during the Chloe Fall/Winter 2016 Runway Bag Collection. Yes, we are referring to The Lexa, a simple yet trendy satchel bag with two straps that makes it ideal to tote on your shoulder or wear it cross body. It is also available in two materials that you can choose from: Suede and Leather. For the said collection, Chloe’s Creative Director Clare Waight Keller took inspiration from the adventurous life of French journalist and writer Anne France Dautheville.
Born with a wild and free spirit, Anne was known for her solo travels using her motorbike, a Moto-Guzzi 750. Claire then took a cue from Anne’s ensembles back in the 70’s and produced an uberly cute, out-of-the-box Fall/Winter 2016 Collection.
The Lexa on the other hand, is one you shouldn’t dare miss during the runway show as it is a perfect bag match for women who are always on the go. Posh and fashionable in all its angles, The Lexa will soon be a favorite everyday bag for equally fashionable women.
Clare Waight Kaller showed Chloé Fall/Winter at the Grand Palais this morning, with frontier-style ponchos, biker inspiration and multicolored woolen coats.
Few other labels have procured the amount of covetable It bags in recent years quite like Chloé. One mention of “Drew,” “Faye,” or “Hudson,” and any fashion girl can quickly guess which Parisian brand you’re referring to. It’s gotten to the point that each season #ChloéGirls anxiously await the latest purse to hit the catwalk so they can begin fantasizing (and saving up for) what they’ll be carrying in a few months’ time.
So what’s the bag for S/S 17? The “Nile” bracelet bag. The half-moon silhouette combined with a circular metal handle and delicate, studded details are just about the most beautiful thing we’ve seen all fashion month.
Scroll down to see it in delicious colorways of white, caramel, mustard, and more, and don’t forget to check out the entire runway show at the end.
